The Mega Drive/Genesis was considered quite the platform for shmups, even if some of the more interesting ones only saw release in Japan.
So seeing Retro-Bit release (and localise) Gley Lancer, one for the more fondly regarded ones certainly makes for a special occasion, which is what’s being looked at with this episode!
